Recent major pieces of work include:• Revising the Supply Chain Operations for PZ Cussons' Nigerian operations. This resulted in turning the Supply Chain from "Push" to "Pull" by the design and construction of Distribution Centre for their major manufacturing plant on the outskirts of Lagos • Completing a feasibility study for a new warehouse for WAMCO's production facility in Lagos• Improving the warehouse operations of a small company in the North West of England so that they avoided having to move into new premises• Defining the strategy for a small North West business to grow and diversify• Managing the development and commercialisation of a heat recovery system for a HVAC business

Examples of work include:• Designed and led a series of workshops to identify the key performance indicators (kpis) necessary for a range of businesses to achieve their target Business as Usual performance and to deliver their strategy. Allowed the company to successfully implement the SAP SEM module with the correct kpis for their business.• Developed and implemented the performance measurement system for a finance function within an international pharmaceutical company

Examples of work include:• Defined the distribution strategy for an fmcg company following their acquisition of a competitor. Reduced the distribution expenditure by 20% whilst improving service levels.• Designed the warehouse operations for a major bedroom furniture manufacturer and retailer in terms of layout, equipment, staffing and operations following the consolidation of their manufacturing operations on to a single site from its original 5 sites.

Examples of work include:• Configured activity based costing software to be able to cost activities with the ability to derive the changes in necessary input resources when the demand changed. Allowed the MoD department to become significantly more responsive to changing demands by being able to predict the impact of those changes.• Completed the project management of a pharmaceutical factory reconstruction on time in a world class time of 15 months from commencement of initial demolition to completion of first production run.• Completed the factory reconstruction on budget saving 25% of production costs allowing the plant to become the low cost producer site in their industry. This allowed the company to move from the initial design of a single shift operation to a full three shift operation and close less efficient plants.
