About John Lee Hardee

In the early 90's JLH produced the "Rock for the Rainforest" concerts in Florida & promoted shows. Hired on H.O.R.D.E. tour '93-'96, after which he resettled in New Orleans to work with & mix artist like Allen Toussaint, Dr. John, George Porter Jr, the Meters & Galactic amongst many others. As Production Manager & head audio engineer at Pyramid Audio, he had the opportunity to mix Glenn Frey & Joe Walsh of the Eagles, Michael McDonald & Stevie Nicks. Since then JLH has worked with many diverse & interesting names in the biz such as Ani Difranco, St. Vincent, Zap Mama, Kelly Rowland (Destiny's Child), Maceo Parker, My Morning Jacket, STS9, Pretty Lights, RJD2, Mark Lanegan, Soulsavers, Dan the Automator, Galactic, Ween, Ivan Neville, Greyboy Allstars, Chali2na (Jurassic 5), Disco Biscuits, Punch Brothers (Chris Thile), Roy Ayers, Royal Family Records (Soulive, Lettuce), Stockholm Syndrome.     JLH serves as the national talent buyer. He is also the special events & concert producer. JLH was the Production Manager until stepping down in July of 2014. This venue was originally established in 1903 & is heralded as the birthplace of jazz, giving it a rich, long history. The stunning venue has a stately upstairs 300+ capacity show room formerly & currently known as the Ramp Room. The adorable Saloon stage downstairs at street level with 250+ capacity. All has been restored to its original grandeur. Alongside Tom Benson & Michael Paz they installed a state-of-the-art sound system with multi-tracking capability. The venue features a top notch restaurant. A wonderful new addition to the New Orleans music venue collection. And the resurrection of an amazing & quite historic building. The Civic Theater (Est. 1906) is the oldest theater in New Orleans, recently refurbished it sits one block away. The recently remodeled Joy Theater is just 3 blocks away also. Ideally situated on Poydras Street between the Superdome & convention center in the CBD of New Orleans.
