▪ Project Lead in a research group focused on creating a glass coating to reduce heat transfer through windows therefore saving energy costs in buildings▪ In over 5 trials of solution processing, my team and I synthesized an Antimony-Doped Tin Oxide solution through autoclave heating and solution reduction▪ Executed a rigorous cleaning and spin coating process on 36 glass samples and conducted UV-Vis, profilometry, and thermal testing to find nearly a 10% reduction in heat absorbance

Philips AED R&D Division | Mechanical Engineering Team▪ Collaborated with senior engineers to solve engineering manufacturing interference issues of the Philips AED through SolidWorks and documented processes through QNs and CAPAs to ensure quality of current AED models▪ Utilized drop, vibration, tensile and other mechanical testing methods on hundreds of AEDs and conduct FAT to evaluate a new supplier PCA to improve the NPI process of developing AEDs▪ Created and validated a manufacturing tolerance analysis tool now in permanent use by the R&D mechanical engineering team that complies fully with ASME Y14.5 and Six Sigma to perform automatic tolerance stack and fixed/floating fastener analysis

▪ As a part of a Boeing Mentor-led group, I tested galvanic corrosion of aerospace materials including coated and uncoated aluminum, titanium, carbon fiber, and fiberglass to gauge interface strength over time▪ Lead evaluator of my group’s own corrosion protection method that found a trivalent Chromium pretreatment that reduced cost/area by 20% and was more environmentally friendly compared to Boeing's coating
