CurrentUnder Mr. Leith-Tetrault's direction, the National Trust Community Investment Corporation (NTCIC) has made tax credit equity investments in 33 large and small historic properties over the past five years. These investments have totaled over $144 million, leveraging total development costs of approximately $650 million. He was responsible for introducing the use of federal New Markets Tax Credits in tandem with federal and state historic tax credits to provide subsidies to rehabilitate commercial properties in qualified low-income communities. NTCIC won a $127 million allocation of NMTCs in the first round.
