A Maintenance Engineer is required to have a working knowledge of and be able to operate and assist with emergency operations of all the systems in a large commercial building complex to include: Fire alarm and fire control, fire pump, and sprinkler systems Elevator operations, recovery, and evacuation procedures Power, water and drainage systems Natural gas shutoff and restoration procedures HVAC systems Low Pressure Boilers for hot water Chiller plant operations Electronic door locks Electronic safes Private telephone and TV systems Pool pumps and filtering equipment Electronic lighting control systems Electronic environmental control systems All guest room controls and systemsIn addition you must know and be able to execute emergency procedures for all the above systems and safely evacuate guests and employees in the event of an emergency.Perform scheduled routine maintenance on all the systems listed above.Provide a friendly and courteous guest experience to promote the Omni image at all times, to create an exceptional guest experience.Respond to guest requests for repair or to explain usage of the systems in their guest room in a friendly and courteous manner.Provide an exceptional guest experience by responding in a timely and professional manner to the Omni standards.
