My primary expertise lies in relationship building, communication, and strategic/conceptual thinking and problem solving.Specific projects I have been involved with recently include:• supporting the renewal of the City of Melbourne's Transport Strategy by developing a discussion paper and engagement material on emerging technologies, and their impact on the transport system in Melbourne;•providing policy, engagement and legislative reform support to Agriculture Victoria (within DEDJTR), in the review of the current Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Act 1986, and developing proposals for new animal welfare legislation in Victoria;• developing a covering report on CSIRO research into fuel excise revenue futures for transport Ministers to consider, for the the National Transport Commission (NTC);•providing strategic policy input into the finalisation of the Heavy Vehicle Electronic Work Diary pilot for Transport Certification Australia (TCA); and•leading two project streams of the national Heavy Vehicle Charging and Investment (HVCI) reform team- developing a business architecture for the proposed three charging and investment reform options, and defining heavy vehicle road access service levels to promote more 'market based' access decisions.

Set strategic direction for the Queensland transport system - scanning for long range challenges and issues, coordinate organisational strategies to achieve long term vision for transport.

Manage the Queensland transport portfolio (Main Roads and Queensland Transport) negotiations with the Commowealth Government for AusLink2 (Nation Building Program) funding. In this role I was responsible for officer level negotiations, strategy development, briefing the Minister and senior executives and preparing materials to support negotiations for the $22bn National Building transport funding program.
