Current• Coordinate library resource licensing, purchase, renewal and cancellation workflows with a variety of stakeholders, including technical services, respective library departments, library liaisons and AUS academic and research support offices. • Oversee purchasing processes of physical and electronic resources by communicating with vendors and working with selectors to gather potential titles. • Develop and maintain a collection of resource usage and cost analytics statistics to inform collection development and budgetary decisions. • Leverage analytics, university metrics and budgetary information to conduct principled negotiations with vendors for favorable contract terms and pricing for complex licenses.• Manage a license resource annual review process procedure for databases, ejournals and other resources.• Keep librarians up to date with timely statistical analysis reports on electronic resource usage, pointing out failing resources or potential purchasing targets.• Collaborate with e-Resources team at the AMICAL consortium to negotiate, purchase and renew licensed eresources. • Work with faculty to find impact factor for specific journals, providing information on downfalls of writing for alleged predatory publishers. • Created and presented a library workshop on Open Educational Resources (OER), providing interested faculty (and library staff) background on the issue, informing them on licensing specifics and the downsides of the material.• Support full service ILL by learning ILL policies and procedures, processing requests during sickness and vacation. Assist staff by searching for hard-to-find materials.
