What are little boys and girls made of?If you believe nursery rhymes, then it's some pretty weird stuff, but I've discovered they're actually composed of cells. We all are! Every living thing, and for the past fifteen years or so, it has been my job to illustrate and animate the goings on of these tiny worlds. Bustling places where thousands of proteins work together to keep us alive. Where errant viruses probe our defenses, marching motor proteins deliver the mail, and whirring mitochondrial machines make the energy we need to live. Well, ok that's pretty weird too. Hmm, what rhymes with Golgi Apparatus...?
