About John Lilly

I've spent the past 30 years working at and investing in technology companies that help people create & connect -- Mozilla, Apple, Instagram, Duolingo, Figma, Dropbox, Tumblr & more. I've also spent a lot of time helping non-profit and civic tech organizations like Code for America, VotingWorks and Daffy.org.I've been lucky to spend time as an investor at Greylock Partners, and to get to teach various classes at Stanford, where, candidly, I learn as much from the students as they do from me!These days I'm on several commercial & non-profit boards and do a fair amount of angel investing & helping startups. My main personal focus has been on learning as much as I can about childhood leukemia -- for unfortunate reasons, but finding myself filled with awe and gratitude for the people who have devoted their lives to the fight.
