• Temporarily relocated to a plastics factory in Huidong, Guangdong Province, China.• Facilitate a smooth and seamless manufacturing process. • Supervise all production activities to ensure shipping deadlines and quality expectations are met. • Act as a liaison between the Seattle-based Beaumont HQs and factory management. • Lead weekly team meetings with the factory management and QC officers to maintain a cooperative and transparent work environment. • Develop ongoing comprehensive shipping schedule and factory capacity rate spreadsheets in order to ensure shipping deadlines are met and any potential problems can be identified then averted accordingly. • Actively work with the Beaumont QC manager (Chinese national) to learn the intricacies of quality assurance inspections, quality control, and physically inspect each PO before shipping. • Supervise the shipping of nearly 650 POs, exceeding a half-million individual units, to various countries and regions. • Catalog various 2013 production issues in order to mitigate and preempt similar problems in the coming years. • Help organize components for designers working on 2014 product development.
