His commercial, taxation and audit experience has enabled John to develop the role of a specialist dealing with professional and trading partnerships within the Thames Valley and clients cover a broad spectrum of industries and structures. With the aim of assisting partnerships meet their business objectives the services being delivered cover compliance in accounting and taxation with advising on longer term business strategy and financing, where he plays a key role in integrating the tax and financial planning to meet the needs of individual partners and their families. Alongside the continuing services to professional firms he provides services to firms requiring external advice or arbitration with one-off matters involving dispute, merger, acquisition or restructuring. John's almost unique qualifications as an audit partner with a tax and financial planning background give him an all round knowledge to draw on in the handling of the affairs of defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes. Having gained practical experience through running an office of our firm for twenty years and technical skills through being a member of regional taxation technical committees for his professional bodies and serving on other committees within the professional bodies.
