Created a web-based software package for building and managing websites. Built an international portfolio of customers, including the University of Winnipeg, the University of Oregon, New Flyer Industries, MBJobs.ca, TiVo, ABC/Disney, Postini, the National Oceanography Association of America, and more.

Developed a social file storage and sharing service with ability to share files with friends, publish them as blogs, galleries and podcasts, and more. Included a global tagging system, friend groups, public file postings, and an editor for simple file types (text-based and images). putfwd.com grew very quickly to over 10,000 users but I had to shut it down because the advertising-based revenue model didn't scale at the pace of my bandwidth expenses. This was my first foray into starting a Web 2.0 company which was even profitable for about 6 months and taught me a lot about online marketing and the various online advertising systems.

Created web-based software applications for the New Media division of the Winnipeg Free Press, including online auction software used on around two dozen newspaper websites across Canada including Canada.com, the National Post, the Vancouver Sun, and the Toronto Star. This application was sold to CityXpress Corp. in Vancouver, BC at which point I opted to start my own software company.

Created and managed websites for a variety of customers. Created graphics for commercials, corporate videos, and the Real Estate Channel.
