AtcoNats May 1982 - Nov 1984Heathrow & LatccHeathrow was fantastic, incredibly interesting and dynamic. There were only three terminals then and it was smaller than now, but it was such an interesting place to work. LATCC was OK, had much bigger watches and interesting folks, but I missed seeing the aeroplanes, I know, that's "sad". So, a great and really good fun job, but I became more interested in one of my fellow female controllers. When that fizzled out, I went back into oil exploration & geology. Looking back, I should have been more focussed, but I was young and dumb. -

This was a truly multi-national project: Kenyan, Tanzanian, Irish, Canadian, US, British.
