I design and deliver practical training in business/career skills. My favourites are networking, storytelling, decision skills and strengths-based development. I present state-of the art concepts in manageable doses - as vitamins rather than painkillers - and help people to explore applications in a workshop format.Successful workshops include "Your STAR Storybase", "Build Your Brand", "Develop Your Business Idea", "21st Century Career Skills", "Extreme Networking", "The Interview Game", "Good Decision!", "Know Your Own Strength" and "Manage your Well-Being".I have been active in Worksearch 2.0 since 2010, IE Network since 2011. These networks support people who are re-engineering their careers as jobseekers, freelancers and/or entrepreneurs. I have helped many colleagues in these networks, in matters relating to career and business development. I have also assisted recent graduates at primary and Masters level to prepare for careers, and delivered sessions at Jobs Clubs for long-term jobseekers from all walks of life.I have successfully coached people from all continents (Africa, India, Vietnam, USA, Brazil, Oceania, Australia - oh, and around Europe) in storytelling and decision making. I have a recent qualification in Business Innovation and I use MOOCs to keep current in areas like gamification and creativity.
