During my time at ODOT I am grateful to have worked with amazing people on a lot of innovative projects. I garnered a reputation for pushing the envelope with technology, communicating through change, and pushing for practical solutions. As Administrator of the ODOT Office of Traffic Management I was responsible for overseeing ODOT's Statewide Traffic Management Center (TMC), Ohio's Traffic Incident Management / Emergency Operations, OHGO, TSMO program, and Operations data analysis/performance measures. I was grateful to work with a great group of people all striving to make Ohio's transportation system safer & keep traffic moving more reliably.

I worked my way up from intern to office supervisor during my ten years in the ODOT Office of Traffic. I am now trusted to lead all Statewide Traffic Management Center staff and operations. Listed below are some of my ODOT accomplishments/achievements: Project manager for some of our most impactful projects and programs such as OHGO, the Freeway Service Patrol and our Critical Success Factors. Selected to participate in the Step Back Leadership Development program and learned invaluable lessons on how to lead effectively. Motivated a group of 25 interns to complete a statewide barrier inventory in less than half of the projected time. Led multiple groups and improved several processes impacting our Districts. Published two articles and presented at seven different conferences discussing various accomplishments. Recognized a need and used my technical skills to develop ODOT’s first public mobile application. The ODOT Location Finder is increasing efficiency for nearly 3,000 ODOT employees and partners. Developed a patent-pending snow and ice performance evaluator to objectively rate our winter maintenance efforts. Took initiative while completing an Interchange Modification Study to address a serious safety concern in the City of Akron.
