In this role, I report to the Director of Field Medical Science, deliver both in-person and virtual scientific presentations to KOLs and HCPs, and train MSLs and customer engagement team on disease states. I provide seamless field medical coverage and meet with KOLs across TX, LA, AR, MO, KS, OK, NE, SD, ND, WY, and MT to update them on latest guidelines, changes, and recommendations. ***Value Added***✔Played integral role in launching only non-mRNA protein subunit vaccine, Nuvaxovid, for prevention of COVID-19 by providing relevant insights and responding to unsolicited requests. ✔Partnered with medical communications, medical information, and real-world evidence colleagues to support company’s broad medical affairs activities. ✔Conducted conference content reviews, gathered and collated feedback, and provided after-action reports to medical affairs leadership and key stakeholders.✔Contributed to biweekly best practice sharing sessions with MSL team; assessed, interpreted, and shared high value, business critical insights with medical affairs leadership in real time.✔Delivered disease state education to both internal and external stakeholders.

During my tenure here, I developed internal virology and vaccine training decks for MSLs and updated IIS & CRS phase III COVID-19 decks. I presented 2 phase III flu and RSV clinical data presentations to 40-member medical affairs department. I also facilitated post-authorization discussions, and initiated systematic review on safety of subunit vaccines.

In this role, I leveraged clinical expertise by writing and facilitating research protocols and informed consent and liaising with regulatory authorities for gut microbiome-cholera vaccine studies in US and in partnership with international collaborators. I participated on interdisciplinary research teams that produced 5 peer-reviewed publications including Cell and Gut microbes. I initiated new research project on gut microbiota-host interactions that resulted in submission of R01 grant and publication of 2 first-author manuscripts. I also communicated research findings to KOLs and MSLs at 3 national meetings, and delivered 2 oral presentations at local research symposiums to audience of 50-100.
