I am an acute care physician with focus in anesthesia and critical care medicine. Having combined this with a 20-year career in the Canadian Forces with multiple deployments into conflict zones.From sitting at the bedside with a dying person, to discussing the death of a loved one with their family, to working furiously with others to save a life - either in the comfort of a large tertiary care hospital or the austerity of a war zone. I bring skills acquired in those times - compassion, active listening, excellent communication, teamwork and grace under pressure to create a safe, supportive, nonjudgmental and dynamic coaching environment.When I am not coaching or doctoring, I approach life with spontaneity as a glorious adventure. Sharing this with family and friends brings me great happiness and resilience.
