I was a business partner in a retail logistics and removals company. I managed all aspects of furniture retail delivery and became involved in international exports and domestic house moves.I was responsible for the business start-up plan and with my business partner successfully won contracts with well-known retailers and distributors. Also with the aid of the Princes Trust we built the company from the ground up learning new skills along the way and adapting our strategies to remain competitive, whilst at the same time delivering a customer orientated service. As a small business owner I had to take on the role of many departments, including sales and marketing, employee management and accounts, whilst at the same time maintaining the day to day running of the business.

Although this role was more of a hobby I picked up new skills and developed existing ones. I taught students of all ages and abilities the traditional Chinese martial art of San Shou Kuan. In these traditional classes there is emphasis on fixed routines to build the foundation for more advanced techniques. I instruct the students, but also help guide and coach them through their journey as martial artists, helping to improve their fitness, confidence and well-being.I have won national titles in full contact Sanda and semi-contact Qingda. Using this experience I have created my own class format for those students who wish to compete or want to improve their fitness. These classes consist of high energised circuits, pad work and sparring.Kickboxing is one of my passions and teaching the sport embodies this.I am a recognised Sanda judge at national tournaments and have BCCMA certification in; Level 3 Bio mechanics in Sport, Level 3 In Sport Psycology and Level 2 Coaching.
