Led the development of the investment strategy for the Financial Sevices sector of OMERS Platform Investments. This strategy included several investments in Purpose Financial, the development of start-up companies within Purpose and the acquisition of Thinking Capital.I served on the board of Purpose and ZetaTango and chaired the Governance & Compensation Committee.I also worked as Senior Adisor to OMERS Platform Investments in the development of a broader strategy around growth equity investing focusing on Food and Agricultural strategies

Developed a market entry plan for U.S. Agricultural banking arena. This plan includes a comprehensive analysis of how to achieve a multi-billion dollar book of loans while achieving target net income and ROE levels. The plan was accepted by senior leadership team of bank and principal board. Analyzed and identified key acquisition targets for NAB in support of the strategic vision. Engaged and secured interest from Great Western Bank (South Dakota) and developed business case supporting acquisition. Co-led due diligence on bank. Acquisition recommendations were supported by senior leadership of bank and principal board. Developed plan for further acquisition and joint venturing strategy to complete geographic scope envisioned in original strategy.
