My time at DePaul University was spent studying Communication/Media Studies and History. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in these fields in June 2017. I had been interested in history since 5th grade and found a passion for media studies throughout high school. Declaring these fields to be my focus at DePaul allowed me to refine my writing, research, and critical thinking skills. In terms of key skills, my strengths lie in strong written and verbal communication as well as detailed and inquisitive research. I’m able to look at something, critically think about it, and deliver a coherent and summarized view on it. Beyond being an excellent writer and researcher, I am always willing to go the extra mile for my employers. I give every project my all and am able to adapt to the situation no matter what. I place value specifically on being an active listener, as well as taking the initiative when I need to. From August 2021 to the present, I have been employed as a Senior Qualitative Fieldwork Specialist at National Research Group. My job responsibilities involve bidding, budgeting, and kicking off market research studies with vendors, ensuring the fieldwork process runs smoothly. In terms of the future, I want to pursue a steady career in market research and insights. I look forward to gaining experience and I'm excited to expand my professional network!When I’m not at work, my favorite hobbies include gaming and hanging out with my friends over Discord. I love the survival horror and action RPG genres, including game series like Resident Evil and Dark Souls. Otherwise, I’m re-watching a classic show like Twin Peaks or going out on hikes with my brother. Fall is my favorite season and Halloween is my favorite holiday, there’s something special about the chilly weather and scary vibes.
