Head - Cost Model Research
CurrentLed and coordinated all manufacturing process research activities, providing critical insights for the development of new cost models and enhancements to existing models within aPriori’s core software product.• Leader of cross-functional teams during the development lifecycle of 15+ manufacturing cost models, including requirements definition, process research, cost-driving geometry definition, model documentation, supporting data definition/collection, and software specification writing.• Manager of the strategic portfolio and budget for 30+ process SME consultants, maximizing their expertise and delivering optimal value to process research activities.Collaboration• Continuous interaction with customer stakeholders, Product Management, and Software Development to define and prioritize model development requirements and to manage project scope and content.Consultation• Facilitator of numerous extensive interviews and work sessions with customers and process subject matter experts to gain and document relevant process knowledge in support of cost model development and enhancement.Environmental Modeling• Participation in the interview and selection of a third-party provider of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) data.• Developer of the approach for mapping aPriori cost model events to corresponding CO2 impact activities within the LCA database, supporting the integration of a sustainability extension into the aPriori baseline product.• Trainer of Sustainability team members to maintain and expand on the LCA database interface.Data Management• Owner of the data foundation including material compositions, stock forms, and prices, machine types, capacities, and prices, and overhead and labor rates for 150+ cost models, ensuring data quality and integrity.
