• Verified the workmanship on both parts and/or assemblies, to their Drawings and/or Inspection Plans, by using a variety of Precision Measuring Tools, such as Calipers, Micrometers, Gage Pins, Thread Gauges and Surface-Plate techniques• Visual inspection of completeness of kits, i.e.: insure that all of the parts on the Kit BOM are present and up to the latest specifications• Completed a First Article Inspection Report on a Variety of parts• Set up and operated the CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) to do precision inspection measurements on a variety of parts• Created Rejection Reports on failed parts or assemblies

• Used Pro/E 2001 to create a multitude of manifold systems using discrete valves such as HPVs, CDVs, RDVs & SMDVs and J-Valves. Also designed more than two hundred block manifolds using the actuator portions of the same valves, following customer’s P&ID schematics• Designed several product lines injection molded fittings used in the Fluid Control Industry, several Molded Valves (2-RDVs & 2-SMDVs family) and Redesigned the CDV Family of Valve, primarily bodies & caps (over 150 bodies and a dozen or so caps)• Worked with Customers, Manufacturing Engineering and Molding Team, to insure highest quality of workmanship in creating Parts and Assemblies• Converted from paper/vellum drawings, several hundred machined and molded components using Pro/E 2001 and Pro/Intralink, reducing the need for a “vellum vault”• Took initiative to learn new skills to improve use of Pro/E and conveyed these new skills to others

• Supported the R&D and Sustaining Engineering Departments by modeling, creating, and maintaining various drawing packages• Worked closely with the R&D Design Engineers on a new product including offering suggestions to help facilitate design and/or manufacture, using Pro/E (a 3D Solid Modeling CAD program)• Created assembly drawing packages (electro-mechanical drawing packages) and part drawings for new Tape Drive Units• Used Man-Man to structure and maintain hundreds of Bills of Materials (BOM’s)• Created Matrix System to track and maintain tape drive products, which eliminated designing duplicates• Aided and checked colleagues’ models and/or drawings in CAD and Vellum environments
