Image quality was ensured when optional output formats, compression, ground sample distance; epsg and metadata values changed and accompanied the products. Performed comprehensive testing of image formats such as {NITF, NITF w/JP2000, CIB-RPF, GeoTIFF, GeoPDF, JP2000, PNG, JPEG, MrSID}. The OCS services (KML, WMS, WMTS, WCS, WFS, GeoRSS) were tested to ensure image quality whether it was on instant mosaics from multiple sensors or tile services in combination supporting each other. Established and responsible for a geospatial test laboratory containing test clients under configuration control to include: ESRI ArcGIS 9.3 & 10.0, ERDAS Imagine 9.3 & 2011, ENVI 4.6 & 4.7, BAE Socet GXP 4.3, GlobalMapper 11 & 12, GaTech Falconview and detailed test procedures that used these tools to test. Ultimately the components used in the development architecture were understood by their version numbers, as defects were fixed and functionality was baselined (such as GDAL, OSSim, FME, and Kakadu) to maintain quality.
