Leading Council operations to deliver on Council's Strategic Plan.

Providing support to the Dorset Council in regards to:- strategy- commercial and financial- governance and risk, including Audit Panel Member- human resources- Information Technology & Management- marketingAchievements to date:- Operational Improvements totalling $673k per annum.- Emphasis on the organisation having the right strategy, having the right people, adequate cash flow and capital deployment to achieve the strategy- Developing Council strategy, Corporate Services Strategy, IT Strategy and executing on those strategies.- Developing and implementing Council's Risk Management Framework.

Duties and achievement outside of normal scope:• Senior executive experience as the Acting General Manager during times of leave.• Business case program lead for multiple Federal Casinos Projects including the approval and funding for a new Federal Casinos Gaming System and Loyalty Program.• Thought leadership in customer-centric strategy which included developing knowledge in strategic marketing, segmentation of our customers via data cubing analytics.Commercial Manager Role:• Demonstrated ability to build teams; setting up a "greenfield" commercial function including program and project management, workforce planning and scheduling, analytics, IT and Point-of-sale Federal Group Administration.• Leading the CCT strategic planning process including the development of the planning framework, facilitation of departmental planning and assisting in bringing new ideas to life.• Customer program sponsor; including developing a Voice of Customer program (net promoter score) and VIP gaming program business case lead (VIP Loyalty Program and new VIP Lounge).• Problem solving; looking at operations in new ways to improve business performance through pricing, expense and labour margin reviews and process reviews.• Workforce demand supply planning and scheduling resulting in major labour savings.• Risk mitigation framework, encompassing strategic, program, project and operational risk.• Contractual Framework, including contract review and management via contract software (Folio).• Mentoring and coaching the executive and management; strategy, commercial and finance.• Key stakeholders; Board, Executive, My team, suppliers and other external bodies.• Prepare monthly and quarterly executive and board reports.• Reporting, complex financial modelling, analytics and business intelligence.

Oversee finance function and key member of the Country Club Tasmania executive team. Business planning, balanced scorecard/KPI development, budgeting cashflow/operational/capital. Financial modelling, forecasting, benchmarking, business case development, project management of key initiatives.
