Provide full scope electrical engineering and design support for single use bioprocessing equipment. Support includes electrical hardware design using AutoCAD Electrical, BOM generation, component specification and proof of principal/concept. Ground up design and support of existing PLC/HMI software using Rockwell and Wonderware development environments. Author and review design documents in accordance with GAMP5/GMP lifecycle approach. Provide Automation project management support for multi-million dollar projects. Work cross-functionally with engineering, management and manufacturing teams to deliver consistent, timely and exceptional results.

Design, implement and troubleshoot new and existing HMI/PLC installations within jet engine test cells serving commercial and military aviation markets. Power distribution designs include breaker panels, motor control centers and branch circuitry. Electrical panel design from concept to assembly, BOMS and parts procurement. Integrate new field instrumentation into existing installations. Develop PLC code and HMI applications from concept to execution. Integrate PLC/HMI systems with data exchanges, industrial networks and avionics busses. Serve as project manager for electrical engineering/design of multi-million dollar capital projects. Work cross-functionally with engineering groups, management and union crafts in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

On the front line with customers providing service and support to new and existing membrane systems serving food, dairy, and beverage industries, pharmaceuticals and both municipal water and wastewater utilities. Membrane systems are comprised of automated pumps, valves, blowers and associated piping and instrumentation. Develop and implement PLC and HMI programs in the field and interface membrane systems with existing plant infrastructure.

Perform day to day operations, maintenance and instrumentation/controls support to municipal water and wastewater utilities. Instrumentation responsibilities consist of validation and calibration of flow, pressure and temperature transmitters as well as analytical instruments such as pH, ORP and conductivity probes. Controls duties include program and design execution on AB, GE and Modicon platforms. Design and execute database report generation and develop SCADA interfaces using Intellusion iFix, Wonderware, and RSView.
