After the success of DD SATA took on the challenge evolving the product to support 12G SAS drives. So was born the Titan 12G Storage enclosure.The role turned into more of a Program Manager with a number of Projects been kicked off within the program.At the same time managed the transition of the design team from the UK to India without impacting project milestones.

Based on the successful development of the redesigned High density storage enclosure, My next challenge was converting the storage enclosure to work with SATA Hard Drives directly connected to a SAS infrastructure. Using the knowledge gained during my work on the 6Gig Interface test machine put together a proof of concept. The Demonstrations and evaluation units has been very successful.The product has be successfully completed and transferred into full production

Started the design and development of the NXP STB255 IP Set Top Box Platform. This enabled our customers to design-in our new Set Top Box chips much quicker. Managing a team of 7 H/W & S/W development engineers and one Technical Author in the development of the STB225Built up and demonstrated technical knowledge of IPTV video encoding standards. Spent many hours building varies H264 and MPEG video stream for testing different aspects of the Set top box.

Was brought in at short notice to rebuild the team, which had fallen behind schedule and was in a bit of a chaotic mess.What a challenge and with my enthusiasm to get this done I successfully managed the DDR testing during this difficult time. This was part of the Nexperia Partner Program and incentive to build up partner ships with software developers in a aim to provide advance middleware for Digital TV manufactures.I developed the H/W specification, coordination of manufacture and testing, and customer rollout of the first SDK development kit.Enjoyed built up and managed partnership between Philips and Windriver to provide support packages for our customers and worked closely with a 3rd party training company to develop a comprehensive training package for the SDK.Developed the concept of “White glove deliveries”, this was a process of managing customer design in. It includes ideas for local technical training and support. What should be included in the SDK (Test applications, example code, documentation) and customer expectations. The goal was that the customer would have the SDK up and working and be starting to develop code with one day of receiving the SDK. This was used successfully in Japan, USA and the UK. Had the opportunity of demonstrating my technical Marketing by promoted the SDK at Electronic fairs and events that included CES, CeBit, Embedded Systems show in Japan. During this time built up business relationships with S/W developers and Manufactures which included Ant, Alarity, Digitaldeck, Avtrix, Bitrouter, Zentek, Espial, Skelmir, Nero and Momentum Data Systems. With the success of SDK1 become Project Manager for the Linux SDK. Managed the H/W development, S/W integration and manufacture for 3 different sites (Europe, UK & USA). Show less

Became Project leader for “Multi-Track Prototype Platform” where I developed a proof of concept using a FPGA prototype.Also presented a paper on the PLL design and testing.
