May 2021 – June 2021: Case Manager: Manpower Temporary Services San Diego, CAActing Case Manager at Emergency Intake Shelter temporarily located at the San Diego Convention Center (SDCC) where over 2,400 migrant children that ranged from ages of mostly 5-12 were temporarily sheltered. Managed a caseload of 10-12 migrant children as to reunify them with sponsors from the United States across the country.Conducted in depth interviews, background checks and case management services with children as well as sponsors to assist in the determination of successful placement.Collaborated and assisted with a variety of community agencies to ensure the successful placement of migrant children as soon as possible (30-45 days) from date of arrival

A program which utilizes a rapid re-housing model to assist CalWORKs families residing in the San Diego Central, South and East County contract region facing homelessness find and maintain housing. The Family Services Supervisor oversees the Housing Support Program, Family Stabilization Program and the Pathways to Success program team to reach goals, metrics and effectively track/report outcomes within the Family Services Department.

The Contract included, San Diego Job Corps, Long Beach Job Corps, Los Angeles Job Corps & the Inland Empire Job Corps as well as a variety of 1 stop centers. Duties included but were not limited to: Center visits, presentations to agencies, formal report writing, consultation services & daily coordination & collaboration with Southern California Job Corps Outreach Admission counselors & management staff. Duties of outreach projects ranged from a local to national scale to adhere to the US Department of Labor outreach & admissions contract requirement to promote the program to the public.
