I developed, wrote and received cross-functional approval of three Reliability Program Plans covering the latest products. I am the only reliability engineer in a division of 200 engineers and scientists. Many engineers rely on me to provide detailed data analysis of tool error logs to improve software reliability and MTBF predictions of new designs and field failure analysis to improve hardware reliability.I received the Division Team Award in Q2FY15 for achieving a goal of 500 Mean-Wafers-Between-Interrupts on KLA-Tencor’s most advanced e-Beam wafer defect and review tool at our top customer's (Fortune 100 Company) site. I processed and analyzed tool generated error logs to identify the top system interrupts. I held weekly meetings with the e-beam division subject matter experts in software and hardware to review the interrupt pareto charts and drive them to develop correct actions to install on each tool. I maintained and published to KLA-Tencor management and to our customer trend charts showing the improvement in Mean-Wafers-Between-Interrupts to 500 and beyond. I achieved an 84% increase in Mean-Time-Between-Interrupts by conducted system level IRONMAN (Improve Reliability On New Machines at Night) on in-house systems prior to release. I tracked each failure event (software and hardware related) and analyzed system generated error logs to drive corrective actions with the design teams. Developed and maintained a Reliability Block Model for each product line that was used to predict new system reliability and identify reliability limiting components. The block model was instrumental for the design teams to meet reliability goals and was a foundation for marketing to respond to Request for Quotes.. Show less
