John Matley is a leader in Deloitte Consulting's Insurance Technology practice, focused on bringing evolutionary technology capabilities to a wide range of property casualty and life & annuity insurance companies. His experience spans from advising large, global insurers through complex legacy challenges to new, nimble startups working to quickly stand up disruptive technology platforms. Throughout his career, he’s led business and technology leadership through the intersection of legacy systems modernization, digital transformations, and customer experience.A major component of John’s role within Deloitte’s Insurance Technology practice is to advise clients on the myriad of technologies and how best to incorporate in clients’ strategy and planning efforts. The ever-changing landscape of robotic process automation, the internet of things, augmented reality/virtual reality, artificial intelligence, and blockchain all present unique opportunities.
