2014 - CurrentI backed Fiscale - a start-up professional practice offering specialist Research & Development Tax Credit advice to business on a no-win-no fee basis. Clients have gained over £50 million of Corporation Tax gains since February 2014. I became Non-Executive Chairman in June 2019, maintaining only a strategic role. However, In January 2021, major changes in the tax advisory industry threatened our business and I stepped back as Executive Chair to stabilise and rebuild the business, making major changes to the business.Fiscale continues to provide first class assistance to clients across many busness sectors and ranging in size from start-ups to turnover in excess of £200 million. Fiscale has successfully helped a range of clients handle HMRC Enquiries brought about by re-interpretation of Taxation law. I have provided pro-bono mentoring for several start-up businesses and manage a portfolio of investments.

Fiscale (Holdings) Ltd, owns 100% of Fiscale Ltd, of which I am also Chair. In 2022 I became the major shareholder having funded the buy-back and cancellation of the 20% shareholding owned previously by my ex-business partner.

Heart of Haverhill Ltd was a Task Group of ONE Haverhill Partnership and was created originally in 2018, incorporated in February 2021. Our ambition was to support the improvement and expansion of the town of Haverhill by winning Business Improvement District status for the Town Centre of Haverhill. Almost £50k was raised through matched funding to employ a town centre manager, on behalf of the business community. This was highly successful and some important engagement and traction was gained on behalf of the business community.This went to ballot in early 2022, but was not sufficiently supported by the very town businesses who stood to gain the most. I retired as Chair and Director in April 2022

ONE Haverhill Partnership , created in 2012 with Government support, to bring major stakeholders in the Town together to pool resources and vision, to produce better social and economic outcomes for the Town. Member of the Working party for 18-months that delivered the Haverhill Town Centre MasterPlan approved in September 2015. The Strategic Business Plan for the Partnership 7 keys threads of work; Health & Wellbeing, Education, Training & Employment, Crime & Anti-Social Behaviour, Town Centre MasterPlan, Business Engagement and a Volunteer Centre.Elected Chair September 2016-June 2021 remaining a Board Member, representing Suffolk Chamber of Commerce.I retired as Chair in June 2021, also retiring as a Board Member in March 2022

I became a Board member of Haverhill Chamber of Commerce in 2011, becoming Chair in 2018. Early in 2021 Suffolk Chamber of Commerce restructured their governance in the County, resulting in the the Town Boards of Haverhill, Newmarket and Bury St Edmunds amalgamating into a singe West Suffolk Board. I served on the West Suffolk Board from 2019 to March 2022 when I retired.

Board Member since September 2012 Involved in various campaigns including the achievement of Superfast Broadband for the industrial area of Haverhill, previously excluded from the BT strategy. Campaigned unsuccessfully to have the main A1307 road dualled between Cambridge and Haverhill. Interim Chair from October 2018 - June 2021
