Technically proficient with Microsoft Office Excel, SPSS Statistics, SuperLab, and programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, Visual Basic, and JavaAs an undergraduate I did research on a variety of areas; embodiment, personality, attention. I published a paper in York College of Pennsylvania’s psychology journal, New Perspectives: The Behavioral Sciences, on multi-sensory stimuli and inattentional blindness.I have conducted research involving visual depth perception, visual selective attention, iconic memory, decision making, and consciousness. I am an experienced and professional experimentalist. I take pride in my ability to craft procedures that are specifically designed to answer the right questions. I have been working to perfect my methods of designing research solutions for over 9 years. The research questions I have historically explored involve the role of visual attention and perception on the formation of conscious experiences. Under the tutelage of Dr. Arien Mack I have coauthored several papers on this topic. I have also worked with Dr. Lloyd Kaufman conducting studies and helping co-author a paper on the differences between partial occlusion and binocular disparity in the perception of three-dimensional objects.What I have come to realize while completing my degrees is that theoretical research has its place, but what I am really interested in is doing research with more applicable value.
