John M. Boccio is the President and Chief Executive Officer of NYLIFE Securities LLC, an SEC Registered Broker Dealer, a member of FINRA, and a subsidiary of New York Life Insurance Company. NYLIFE Securities LLC offers a range of investment and retirement solutions, variable insurance products, and planning services for middle-market, affluent, and high-net-worth clientele. John is responsible for general management of the business, which includes setting the strategic vision, managing the P&L, overseeing governance matters, and building capabilities for its 6,000+ Registered Representatives. John’s expertise ranges from designing operating models, formulating growth initiatives, driving digital transformation, and delivering exceptional support for advisors and clients. Prior to New York Life, John worked in investment banking and consulting, advising clients in the Financial Services and Technology industries on a range of financing transactions, strategic decisions, and valuation engagements. John’s financial services industry leadership and advocacy spans various roles as an advisory council member and mentor through several premier membership associations including the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA), the Money Management Institute (MMI), and the Financial Planning Association (FPA). John earned an M.B.A. in Finance and International Business from the Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University, and a B.S. in Finance from the Dolan School of Business at Fairfield University. He also completed an international student exchange program through the ESADE Business School in Barcelona, Spain, and an executive education program through the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.John’s personal time is enjoyed with family, pursuing advancements in health, wellness, and longevity, and spending time in the ocean or mountains through surfing, snowboarding, and triathlon.
