• Oversaw all national upfront and scatter sales in New York as well as all territories and National offices- Detroit, Chicago, Dallas and Los Angeles. Network Launch Team • Developed and closed numerous accounts. 36 National Advertisers signed on to FBN in 4q 2007. Today, FBN has over 600 National Advertisers. In addition, worked closely with the DR/Paid programming department to co-ordinate client contacts and drive revenue with the best use of inventory and price. • Collaborated with 25+ Managers & AE’s and our client Advertisers as well as the Presidents of FBN, VPs of Programming, FBN show Producers and Traffic to create sponsorable segments and events. Popular segments are Small Business Theme Day (Comcast), Market Drivers (Mercedes), The Business of Tech (Acura); Barron’s Retirement Report (Brighthouse) and The Strange Inheritance Quiz (Legalzoom). Sponsored events include Davos (Wisdom Tree), Explore Conference (Charles Schwab) and US Open golf coverage (PXG golf clubs).• Negotiated multiple cross platform deals, along with on- and off-air promotional elements. Popular cross platform opportunities included a Small Business Theme Week (Hiscox Insurance), Mahindra Tractors Dealer Meeting w/ Maria Bartiromo and The Season of Giving (The Signatory).• Developed and launched the Barron’s Roundtable sponsored by Invesco. This weekly Primetime show has sponsored and promotional elements on FBN, FBN.com , Barron’s, Barrons.com, Marketwatch and the Wall Street Journal.• Responsibilities also included participating in budget forecasting, working closely with Planning and Finance to create FBN yearly Budgets, the training and motivating of Account Executives, Planners and Account Coordinators to sell in the shadow of FNC, meeting regularly with Pricing & Planning and Research to create aggressive yet defensible selling estimates and attending numerous client and agency meetings and events in New York and across the country.
