John specialise in the survey and recording of heritage buildings, landscapes and artefacts. In the past, as a surveyor, he worked in the oil fields of Iran, was a team leader for the mapping of the Nile Valley from Aswan to Alexandria and in the 1980s he was project manager at Jubail, in Saudi Arabia, for what was then the world’s largest survey project. He now works with his son David in a business providing survey, measuring and modelling services to the Heritage sectorSpecialties: Originally a land surveyor but now with experience in photogrammetry, 3d modelling and visualisation.
