Orchestrated turnaround of this underachieving organization, directing an unprecedented increase in funding, physical assets, mem¬bership, and service capacity. Developed a prestigious Board comprised of high-ranking community leaders, positioning it as a premiere governance model among the local non-profits. Managed, trained, and developed 80+ paid and volunteer staff, supervising strategic planning/execution related to fundraising, service improvement, policy develop¬ment, relationship building, and management of contracts valued at $4M+ with federal, state, and municipal entities.

Joined the Tampa organization as a Counselor in 1990, earning management promotion less than 12 months into tenure. Spent two years directing counseling, advocacy, and intervention directives for the Individual Services Program before transitioning into the Resource Development Department. Challenged to build relationships with corporate/community sponsors and individuals in raising funds to finance the Department's $3.5M operating budget.
