Juniper Systems conceives, designs, builds and sells ultra-rugged handheld computers that provide users with the ability to collect and use data in extreme environments. I guide software development at Juniper Systems. I provide direction and guidance to ensure that software is developed to meet schedule, quality and specification. I code with the operating system adaptation team to develop drivers and low level software to enable the latest version of various operating systems. I ensure that team members have the resources, space and time to complete work, to provide forward-looking guidance for future company directions and to make team members available for company priorities in a consistent, interrupt-free environment.I am always looking for ways to improve how we get things done, from how we code to how we sit to how we interact with other groups. Iomega manufactured removable media hard disk drives. I created drivers for these devices in various operating systems. I worked with Windows CE, Windows 95/98/etc, as well as Windows NT/2K/XP. Later on, I created a driver and file system for the Sega Dreamcast for an Iomega product. I continued with writing drivers for Mac OSX and ultimately Linux.

Philips BTS conceived, designed, and manufactured components and equipment for Television production. I worked with a group to define, design and build a media server. We explored the requirements and markets for such a device. We planned on expanding upon an existing product to provide full random access to media (audio & video) for a wide variety of scenarios.

Evans & Sutherland was a pioneer in the field of Computer Graphics and was instrumental in the development of flight simulators and what became to be known as Virtual Reality. I developed software for flight simulators to simulate various environmental conditions such as flares and weather effects. I also wrote software for various display devices, including projectors, CRTs, remote control devices and head-position controlled robotic projectors.
