In this role I created driller packets, applied for permits with cities and state agencies, alerted utilities of impending work, logged soil samples and rock cores in the field, used gINT to create logs, conducted resistivity testing in the field, took pavement cores, aided in the installation and reading of monitoring wells, conducted moisture tests, Atterberg limit tests, and rock core breaks. Additionally I trained in some basic CMT tasks such as Slump tests, check air content in concrete using the pressure method, and how to use a nuclear density gauge.

Kansas Geological Survey - Student Hourly - March 2019 to July 2020Through my time working for KGS I worked in the Shop where my responsibilities were wide ranging. I aided in the construction of a land stringer seismic line, aided in the rehabilitation of large vehicles such as trucks equipped with a seismic vibrator, drilling rigs, and semi-trucks, these responsibilities included basic maintenance and body work. Aided in the testing and assembly of 52 pin connectors and salvaging cables. Construction of small parts with available wood and metal working supplies. Aid in the mapping of electrical and hydraulic lines on drill rigs. Basic MIG welding, Organize and Clean the shop. Maintain and Clean Water Level Tapes for use in the field. Travel to and from local vendors for parts and supplies in a state vehicle. Landscape management of storage yard.

Drive 500+ miles a trip. Have positive interactions with Clients/Drivers during the delivery process.

In this position I conducted sales of Cell phones, Computers and other items sold in the store along with providing great customer service. I also opened the store in the morning and closed it in the evening. As the person in charge I was also expected to resolve any complicated customer service issues.

In this position I performed set ups on new computers for clients as well as performed intakes on computers to be serviced. I also processed warranty claims, certified open box items for resale, assisted on the sales floor as needed, performed zagg shield installs on clients devices and sold Geek Squad Services.

As an Easy Tech Associate I sold computers, tablets, printer and assorted items that staples stocked. I Stocked Shelves, Built furniture and worked the registers. I was also utilized to perform Tech Services ranging from Diagnostics and Repair to new computer set ups.
