I have over a decade in inspecting, service & repair or various piping systems. I started pipefitting when i graduated high school and started working in the fire protection industry. My role in the fire protection industry grew fast and i went from a service tech and graduated to a inspectors apprentice only after 2 years. 1 year later i was promoted to foreman and given my own service/testing/inspection service van and a helper that year, I achieved most schedule hours worked & most over time hours worked by foreman in the entire company. I carried a strong work ethic to work each day since then. After almost 6 years i was eager to grow and learn while also wanting to take a brake from the road, while doing so i took a job as a inside machinist making parts for assault weapons for the United States Gov @ AEROSTAR MACHINE INC. There i learned and experienced in the trade how to cut, shape metal and plastic, various types of manufacturing. Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, depth, and angle of cut. after close to a year and half after starting that i took a job offer @ General Ship Repair CORPORATION. As i started my first year in the ship repair business i quickly learned how well rounded you must be to work on commercial maritime vessels and how strict Coast Guard Inspectors can be. Within my first year @ GSR i became 1st class outside machinist & pipefitter and would work as may overtime hours and holidays as i could to show my dedication to the company. Mid way threw my 2nd year i would stay late and come in early practicing the fine art of welding on my own time and during working hours i would work closely with welders and volunteer my time with helping them with any needs needed to complete the job, in doing so i have learned and achieved many strong a safe work ethics needed to get these strategic and different jobs completed.
