Lecturer at the Mortgage Fraud and Vacant Property Crime program for the NDAA. This series focused on the investigation and prosecution of mortgage fraud and vacant property crime in 2013. Trainings cover how to detect fraud, the common and emerging schemes facing our real estate market, and prosecution strategies. I spoke on utilizing RICO and forfeiture statutes against Sovereign Citizens.

As Chief Assistant, I run the day-to-day operations of the Cobb County District Attorney's Office 120 employees and report directly to the eIected District Attorney, Vic Reynolds. As a prosecutor, I have tried over 185 felony trials to verdict including Death Penalty and multiple RICO trials. I served as a Deputy Chief Assistant District Attorney in charge of the Public Integrity Unit of the DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office. During that time, I oversaw the investigation and prosecution of numerous public officials; sovereign citizens; pill mills; and illegal gambling operations. One particular prosecution for ticket fixing led to the successful prosecution of four deputy clerks and the resignation of a Chief Judge and Clerk of Court.

In this annual, one week course, I oversee the education and development of new Georgia prosecutors modeled after the NCDA analytical advocacy approach of case theory and persuasion.

Appointed by Governor Sonny Perdue on 7/8/2008. The federal government’s Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s Center for Substance Abuse Prevention awarded Georgia a State Incentive Planning Grant, to develop the capacity and infrastructure needed to more effectively compete for the full State Incentive Grant. which requires the CAAC to work intensively in several areas to achieve readiness by developing a comprehensive state-wide substance abuse and early intervention strategy

Duties encompassed all areas of criminal practice including: trial preparation/ litigation and appellate advocacy. I tried 137 felony jury trials and successfully authored 50 appellate briefs.
