Designed a gradle plugin to verify security compliance for specific deployment environments Created a test framework for end-to-end and sell-off testing using spring-boot and cucumber enabling development teams to quickly write their own tests in a cucumber feature file. Rewrote a legacy multithreaded ingestion framework using new concepts: graphs to represent the dataflow, stages to represent work units, and pipes to transfer work between stages. This made it very easy for developers to add new data to the data pipeline. Created a low-overhead metrics system for the ingestion framework using an Event Bus to send metrics to any subscriber including AWS Cloud Watch and Kibana. Created presentations on TDD, junit, cucumber, gradle, and product design for the team. Helped convert a custom in-house testing solution to support cucumber and moved testing towards a cucumber and CI/CD solution.

Worked on the Operations and Maintenance team for a large enterprise project. Reduced build time of 2 hours for over 450 projects to 20 minutes by converting the build to gradle. Fixed many issues in a swing application used for data analysis of multiple data sources. Improved performance of code generation (antlr templates) for high performance database operations. Automated static code analysis of all projects using jenkins, sonarqube, and gradle.

Utilized Pentaho Data Integration technology and custom java code to perform extract, transform, and load operations (ETL) for over 400 datasources. Used an Accumulo Big Data solution to store artifacts gathered during ETL operations. Implemented an Apereo CAS solution used as authentication for all applications including sharepoint. Developed and implemented changes to a content management application written in grails. Managed Jenkins build workflows for grails and maven projects.
