With over 25 years business experience solving problems, re-engineering processes, building customer loyalty, taking the complexity out of and increasing the productivity of the businesses I worked for. I am commercially and financially astute, with an insatiable curiosity about how and why things work.Educated at the University of Tasmania where I graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce and a Graduate Diploma of Science (IT). Subsequently gaining a postgraduate qualification as a CPA. Since then I have worked in advertising, private education, forestry, banking, civil construction, textile services, manufacturing, financial services, hospitality, agriculture, life insurance including 10 years in the waste management industry. Recently I completed my Lean Six Sigma - Yellow Belt.With 15 years’ Business Analysis, Data Analysis, Benefit Realisation, Project Management and Project Implementation experience. Complemented by 10 years’ Finance experience creating Excel/TM1/VBA models, preparing detailed management and business intelligence reports, streamlining business processes, managing staff and making systems work.Throughout my career, I have pushed myself out of my comfort zone. From this willingness to take on new challenges, I have gained expertise in restructuring working environments, analysing, mapping and automating business processes, coaching and mentoring employees, investigating and solving complex problems, and implementing new IT systems. Hitting the ground running, rolling up my sleeves and get stuck into the job at hand with little or no supervision required.
