About John Grillos
I am committed to make a contribution to building a startup infrastructure in Tennessee along the lines of what I was a part of in Silicon Valley. My contribution takes three forms-- CEO coaching, angel investing and M&A advisory. I have five decades of experience as a CEO, entrepreneur, Venture Capitalist/angel investor and CEO coach. I founded and built two companies. I managed four venture capital firms (founded two of them) with combined capital under management exceeding $500 million. I successfully managed nine companies through periods of disruption in their growth. I have been a highly influential director of 27 for-profit (private and public) and non-profit organizations.
