Hired on to manage $10 million in fast-paced design build projects.- These projects were federally funded through the CARES Act, which brought with it strict funding deadlines and requirements that added unique adversity to the completion of the projects. - Completed all projects by funding deadline, within budget.- Managed RFI's, Submittals, Change Orders, and many other aspects of the projects with a team of 5-10 individuals. The hastened design of the projects bred many challenges and hurdles that required adept problem solving and dynamic leadership to keep the team moving in a unified direction.After completion of the $10 million in CARES projects, my role morphed into a catch-all executive wearing many hats, including:- Estimating: prepare bids for Oklahoma Department of Transportation, Tinker Air Force Base, private hard-bid projects, Tribal projects, and more.- Business Development: meet with decision makers and executives of potential clients and partners to develop long lasting relationships.- Accounting Controller: Manage company financials in a quasi-Controller/CFO role, including bookkeeping, running financial reporting, auditing accounts, preparing Pro Forma documentation, and tracking Key Performance Indicators for the company.- Software Implementation: Spearhead the integration of Procore for project and financial management, and transition accounting software to Quickbooks Enterprise to integrate with Procore. Implement Docusign to ease contract negotiations and improve company efficiency.Currently, my role encompasses managing contracted projects, estimating potential projects, meeting with future clients, and ensuring all major management systems are running and effective.

 Managed full Engineering/Procurement/Construction (EPC) projects from initial launch through completion. Leveraged technical expertise and data management skills to support engineering, estimating and constructions teams. Ensured construction projects were in accordance with drawings, maintained a safe work site, and resolved installation problems as needed. Managed schedules and operations budgets for crews of 20+ team members meeting business objectives and daily benchmarks. Conducted data analysis to create hit-miss matrix for design-build projects and integrated multiple variables into predictive index resulting in identification of strengths and opportunities in project estimation.Accomplishments: Completed a $2.2M installation of a reaction mass system for a multinational defense contractor. Completed a $2.5M project to increase production and expand gas processing capabilities for a Natural Gas Liquids (NGL) Plant. Served in multiple roles working onsite and with project design initiatives. Implemented a time management system to support temporary employees tracking over 2500 weekly hours across multiple projects. Resulted in increased accuracy and savings of $80K over a four-month period. Led the bid team on a Naval Facility Project to prepare a bid with 25 subcontractors, distilled from over 200 proposals across 600 requests. The project was awarded to Ross Group with a value of $1M+. Reduced subcontractor change order cost by $250K through evaluation of project details and correspondence. Increased project ROI from 8% to 19%. Developed project reporting format that was adopted as the standard template for the entire organization. When I started teaching martial arts, I transitioned to a part time role with flexible hours responsible for projects supporting project management and procurement teams along with estimating and executive teams.

 Onsite Process Engineer for gas processing system, fuel gas delivery system, and oil gathering and processing system. Led gas expansion project to incorporate 100+ new wells. Conducted reliability studies to determine safety of various casing gas and fuel gas systems. Conducted construction and safety reviews on multiple projects.Accomplishments: Installed gas system pressure transmitters to develop Spotfire/GIS tracking tool to correlate the live pressure with oil volumes. Identified and executed $400K opportunity. Instituted the Titan Model, a VBA based data analysis software built to identify capacity bottlenecks and lost profit opportunities. Identified 30-year lost profit potentials of 1 million + barrels. Led Lean Six Sigma project, developing a work process to analyze 300K + waste and overspend resulting in identification of $1.5M potential savings. Identified major gas leak in the fuel gas system, launching a $4M project to replace the system. Resulted in elimination of a large risk factor for site employees.

As a college job, I was lucky to work in the same building that most of my engineering classes took place! We refined waste cooking oil from throughout campus into diesel fuel, which was used to help operate the campus bus system. My primary responsibilities was logistics. With a teammate, we were in charge of ensuring oil was picked up and fuel was distributed. While not the most technical role, I was in a unique position to lead in this area due to my athletic background and childhood work experience. A barrel of waste cooking oil can be 300 - 400 pounds, and is often covered in food particulates and grime. Being a high school football player and growing up working with livestock made me uniquely positioned amongst our team to handle this essential role.

Over two internships with Chevron, I was exposed to multiple aspects of Facility Engineering as well as safety culture.Summer 2012: In Houston, TX, I worked with a facilities engineering team supporting tertiary extraction fields in the Permian Basin. My focus project was in determining the economic feasibility of extracting methane from generated waste gas that was primarily CO2, which was compressed into a supercritical fluid and used for reinjection. Summer 2013: In Bakersfield, CA I had the opportunity to spend ample time in the field, where my project focused on developing a pipeline tracking system to determine capacity, as well as track maintenance requirements.
