The facility was the first in Asia to deploy advanced terminal technology of fully Automated Stacking Cranes (ASC) and Straddle Carriers. Designed with 1400m of berth and 840,000m2 land area, 14 ship-to-shore cranes, the facility reached an ultimate capacity of over 3.2 million TEUS after several facility expansion projects. The company consisted of 521 employees, subcontractors and 184 third party workers along with eight shareholders including an investment fund, shipping lines, logistic entities, construction companies and port authority. Served 3 Terms as CEO for a total of 9 years. Chose not to seek reappointment for a 4th Term to pursue new career challenges.
