I am a commercial loan Credit Administrator for First Northern Bank, a community bank in Northern California. Out of our Dixon, CA headquarters, I provide transaction approval, portfolio reporting, and credit analyst management for commercial loans.During my career in commercial banking and commercial real estate, I have worked with teams, portfolios, and projects as administrator, manager, lender, developer and workout officer. This gives me a full and rounded perspective on loan origination and risk management. Some of my career highlights include:- Credit administrator approving commercial loans under delegated credit authority. Voting member of loan committee for large relationships.- Managed a team of credit analysts providing underwriting support for the loan teams at a $1.1 billion community bank.- Originated and underwrote $1.0 billion in commercial loans over a 9 year period.- Project manager for a $100 million residential subdivision development with an institutional investor.- Resolved a distressed subdivision OREO asset and recovered over $8.5 million.I approach work in two ways that keep me motivated. First, I believe that we should arrive at solutions that are beyond win-win, solutions that produce more total benefit than the sum of all parties involved. Second, I like finding the core reasons that drive a transaction or project or team, and then building strategies that take advantage of those reasons.I am always interested in hearing from former colleagues, and I enjoy making new professional acquaintances. In addition, I am looking to join or work with non-profit or community development organizations, especially in the area of affordable housing.Skills: credit administration, loan approval, commercial real estate finance, commercial banking, agriculture finance, project management, team building, process improvement, financial underwriting, loan workout, CreditQuest, Salesforce.
