Established and validated novel cell imaging protocols for quantization of lipid uptake in peritoneal macrophages. Expertise includes nucleic acid isolation, analysis and downstream manipulation. Experienced in microarray-related technology, Taqman, in silico data mining, monocyte to macrophage differentiation, robotics, RNAi technology and human naive T cell differentiation. Facilitated microarray profiling of various rodent animal models of inflammation. Lead developer of new protocols for RNA isolation from a variety of tissue types, including whole paws, blood, dorsal root ganglia and spinal cord. Liason between Computational Biology and Inflammation groups.Triaged over 200 potential new targets in osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis using literature references and pathway mapping.
