In 2007 John Montegrande (or Monte to many) developed Rose Theatrical of London Limited with its founder William Forster. In 2010 the company was rebranded to Inglenook Productions where he became a Co-Founder and Artistic Director. In 2011 Monte graduated with a BA Hons in Acting: Collaborative and Devised Theatre from the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama. Monte also trained in film directing, editing and producing at The Co-operative Youth Film Academy, and was later employed on a freelance basis. It was here that he co-directed/directed three feature films, ‘Julius Caesar', which was nominated for best Microbudget Feature at Raindance Film Festival, 'Richard II' and 'The Rochdale Pioneers', which toured independent cinemas across the UK and was broadcast on Film4 in November 2012. In 2013 Inglenook Productions became resident at the iconic Victoria Warehouse in Manchester. Here Monte worked on a myriad of videography, photography and creative projects, collaborating with both boutique and international brands. Ultimately Monte became instrumental in establishing the creative identity of the Victoria Warehouse brand. After working with Barty Walsh and Jordan Kennedy on previous projects, Monte joined Ordo in 2019, where he continues today as Head of Creative and Design. Monte’s work at Ordo is a culmination of his rich and varied creative experience and his time there is proving incredibly exciting, as the company makes marked steps toward becoming a internationally recognised brand.
