As Coral's’s marketing leader, I was responsible for the creation, execution and performance of all marketing programs and to position Coral8 as a thought and technology leader in the CEP software market. In this role I consistently met or exceeded quarterly and yearly lead generation, pipeline development, and market development objectives, ensuring steady revenue results and pipeline growth.Through a steady stream of marketing programs, PR and go-to-market activities, I helped established Coral8 as a thought leader in the CEP software market, and a clear technology leader. I developed a specific go to market strategy for capital markets, executed a critical reseller partnership and actively worked with the partner to close 12 of the company's most prominent capital markets customers in 2007 and 2008.Through unique internet-based marketing and product education programs I helped create the Coral8 Developer Network and grew this network of developers into the largest of its kind in the CEP market (over 3,000 developers) . The network was a steady source of leads that generated revenue with little sales effort.After the merger with Aleri I ran lead generation and sales development programs for CEP and capital markets solutions to generate over 5,000 leads and develop a sales pipeline of over $30 million.

I was a consultant to Skytide, providing expertise in market strategy, product marketing, and market development. In this role I developed the company's market strategy, identifying the most opportune market segments for the Skytide software products via customer and market surveys, and detailed analysis of specific vertical industries. I then developed a detailed market development plan to that focus on specific analytic applications, and executed programs that generated early customer adopter leads for the sales teams.

I was a founder of the company and I oversaw product strategy, product marketing, solution strategies and lead generation for the company. In the product leader role, I helped resurrect a dormant suite of information integration software and developed new business activity monitoring solutions for the company. In my marketing role, I constructed and executed marketing and lead generation programs to reach our solution target markets and develop new leads for the sales teams.In addition, I was responsible for collaborating with early adopter customers in pre- and post-sales opportunities to define requirements and ensure customer satisfaction. I also helped established the value proposition and technical foundation for the company’s acquisition by SAP.

At Active Software, my role was to identify specific solution areas for the company's products, develop an integration with key applications in those solution areas, and aid the sales teams in selling to those solutions.In this role, I developed and executed the company's solution go to market program and associated adapter development program that integrated the Active Software product with 32 packaged software solutions.In addition, I ran field sales programs and OEM relationships that dramatically increased Active Software and webMethods sales into CRM solutions (Siebel, Vantive). I was instrumental in negotiating and executing co-development and co-marketing programs with top echelon application software providers including Siebel, Clarify, Vantive, PeopleSoft, Broadvision, MetaSolv, Hewlett-Packard, Portal Software, SAIC, among others.

At Informix, I was the head of the new formed Internet Product Business Unit, managing the product development, product management and product marketing of new products targeting the growing internet market. I helped grow the business unit from a team of 2 to over 30 people.My team created new products and ran successful go to market plans which grew Informix's sales revenue for internet solutions from practically zero or $40 million. We successfully launched 4 new products while I managed the business unit, targeting web development, content management and document management. In addition, our team managed new product rollouts and oversaw the creation of sales materials and sales force training.

I played a key leadership role at Oracle in the conception, creation, development, marketing, and rollout of a new line of products, the Oracle Workgroup Products, which drove significant new revenues in new market segments. The Oracle Workgroup and Distributed Products grew to a $50 million business within two years.During this time I oversaw the execution of public relations and analyst campaigns, working with the Oracle corporate communications team that lead to significant market leadership and multiple industry awards.
