Between May 2000 and March 2009 I held the position of Group Chief Executive of a financial services group. In that time, the business grew rapidly with turnover increasing from approximately £5 million to over £40 million in 2008.Since March 2009 I have been involved in running the family partnership which is engaged in race horse training and breeding. I have also played an active part in the development of the wealth management business, European Wealth. I am also a Director of Hermes Pacific Investment Trust. I have developed ability for strategic thinking, growing a business both organically and through acquisition together with internally motivating staff at all levels. As part of managing a rapidly growing business I have gained a wide range of experience including running a quoted company with a number of trading subsidiaries.
