District Court vacated verdict and entered judgment in client's favor. •Represented razor manufacturer in arbitration with chief competitor involving competing shaving claims. Financial Services •Represented national bank following entry of $60M judgment. Negotiated settlement after raising new arguments in post-trial motions. •Represented national bank against competitor's "lift out" of employees and formation of subsidiary that competed with client's investment subsidiary. Negotiated settlement during trial. Real Estate •Represented association of building owners claiming that City of St. Louis' displaced workers' ordinance was unconstitutional. Appellate court upheld trial court's finding.•Represented estate in dispute with co-owner of multiple properties. Following several rulings in client's favor, co-owner agreed to pay our client more than $24M.Business Litigation •Represented forklift dealer in negligent misrepresentation claim. Obtained judgment in client's favor after two-week jury trial, which was affirmed by the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals. •Represented real estate developer in usurpation of corporate opportunity claim against former employee arising from employee's purchase and efforts to 'flip' 60-acre tract. Obtained Order prohibiting employee from selling property, and succeeded in having property transferred to client. •Represented manufacturers, software company, hospital, and haunted house operator, in successful enforcement of non-compete agreements.
